First Annual John Gilliland Look-a-Like Contest

Family Organization Announces the Winner

On August 15, 2007, the Farnsworth Family Organization announced the winner of it’s John Gilliland look a like contest.
Entries arrived from around the world and the best match was chosen by our panel of judges.

"I realize that he’s better looking,” says Morris Farnsworth, the winner, “but I have more hair!!"

The winner receives a life time supply of stays at the John and Caroline Gilliland bed and breakfast.

Mr. Farnsworth states that it took four years to grow the beard, so he’s thinking about keeping it (the beard) for a while.

Because the response was so overwhelming,
we will probably have the contest again in another year. This winner and other entrants are posted on this website.

Runner up prizes were a free disposable razor and shave cream,
collected from various stays at motels.
